3/4's of the Way There.... Drew's 9 Month Stats

Drew is now 3/4th of the way to being a one year old.  We were excited for this 9 month appointment because we thought it would be the first one where he didn't have to get any shots, but we soon remembered he was getting his flu shot and that he would have to get a second flu shot a month later.  It wasn't as bad as his other shots, but he did cry for a few seconds.  Michelle says its good because that means that we don't treat him too badly because he is still sensitive to pain.  I thought if he didn't cry that would just mean he was tough.  His 9 month stats are as follows:

Weight: 19 lbs 1 oz (25%)
Hight: 28 in. (40%)
 Head: 18.5 in. (90%)

We think that he is doing great and no one would ever know that he started out so small.  He now has four teeth, two on top and two on the bottom, and one on the way.  He is finding creative ways to try and get around, but has yet to start crawling although it seems like it will happen any day.  He is eating more and more of what we eat each day because we refuse to buy any more baby food (all of the food thus far was given to us for free, great friends we have).  His right tear duct has cleared and his left one is doing much better.  We hope it will clear before the year is up.  Michelle has started to go crazy with buying him clothes and I need to keep a closer eye on the credit card bill.  Drew is changing so much and it is fun to see how his personality is developing and his looks are changing.  There is still a debate on who he looks like more.  We seem to get a different answer from everyone.  Regardless of what he does or looks like we just love him to death.

As a side note, here are a few videos that we took of Drew this past Sunday when we were celebrating Rachael's birthday.  These aren't even half as funny as what happened before I started recording.  We were cracking up and Drew was just looking at us like we were crazy with no response.

He is the best kid ever!

All I can say is wow, that kid has no chance with families like ours! What a riot. I really am not quite sure what to say. I wonder if he was thinking that he has a crazy family.

He's so big!!! I can't believe he's that much closer to his 1st birthday! Can't wait for him to come and play with more crazy family in Arizona!

by 10months, lbj was eating all finger foods, because he wanted what i was eating - and he refused to let me feed him with a spoon.
it ended up being AWESOME! no more buying baby food, or pureeing my own. and no more plane noises from nathans mouth as he "flew" the spoon towards lbjs mouth ;o)
