Another Grandkid for the Martins

On the same day that we mourned the loss of Michelle's Aunt Kathie we celebrated the birth of her sister Jill's baby Boy Steven Glenn Hall.  He was a chuncker at 8 lbs 3 oz.  Brian thinks he doesn't look like a Martin at all, but the rest of us just think he doesn't look like a Martin as much as the others.

He came a day earlier than planned because he was found to be breached and the cord was wrapped around his neck.  When they pulled him out, by c-section, they found a knot in his umbilical cord.  Look at the size of that thing.  He must have been doing some gymnastics in her belly.

We are glad that both mother and baby are doing well except for a little pain from having a c-section, but I'm sure it was all worth it to get a beautiful baby boy out of it and in no time a rush of Aunties will be flying up there to give her a hand.
