I wish I could say that I feel much older, wiser, and mature, but I really don't feel any different. I no longer have a 2 in front of my age and can't tease my wife about being in her thirties while I am in my twenties, but there isn't much other than that. Since there are really good birthday deals out there, I really celebrate my birthday all month. I had already gone to Tucano's in Salt Lake, Rubio's, Red Robin, and Benihana's for free meals before my birthday, and my birthday, day, was no different. As you can read from my other posts, I was in Arizona with my family for the Thanksgiving holiday so that made it extra special. We began the day by going with my brother, who also has his birthday on the same day just born seven years after me, to get a dozen free donuts each from Krispy Cream Donuts. We then made our way to Farm House Grill for a free breakfast.
After dropping Scott off back home, Michelle, Drew, and I headed over to my sister Emily's house to visit and prepare to make caramel apple's. We then headed to Joe's Real BBQ and Liberty Market for two more free meals to go. I was kind and loving and shared one of them with Michelle. We then headed back to Emily's place where we ate outside on the grass while we waited for the rest of my family to show up for some fun.
That afternoon we finished making the caramel apples and then celebrated with pizza and games. I will give mare details about other non birthday events of the day in another post. For me it turned out to be a great day spending it with my family.
P.S.-Didn't Drew and Michelle do a great job on my surprise birthday post.
