Visitors From California

Michelle's brother, Cameron, and his family came to visit for the holiday weekend. Since they live in California we don't get to see them as often as we like and since they also have a cute little girl, Candice, it makes it that much more exciting when they are in town. On Thursday night Michelle and I went down to spend the night in Orem. Nettie and Tina had arrived a few hours earlier and we spent the night talking and playing with Candice and Drew. Friday morning Dy and Bracken joined us in Orem and we took a trip to Lehi to go swimming in their aquatic center.

It was Candice's and Bracken's first times in a real pool and it was fun to watch how excited they got in the water. Bracken had a slow start, but warmed up to the idea a little later. We weren't ready to get Drew in a public pool so he just slept in his car seat.

I ended up leaving the pool early to go on a trip to Southern Utah for the weekend(separate post). Michelle stayed in Orem the whole weekend while I was gone so she could hang out with the family.

It was great to have the three boys back together again. It will be a lot of fun to see, as they get older, how they will interact and become best friends. Of course Candice didn't want to be left out of the gang.

Chelsea and Darren arrived from Idaho Friday night and on Saturday they all went to Bridal Veil Falls for a nice walk with the kids.

Cameron's wife, Rachel, is from Idaho so while they were just a few hours away, her family came down to visit with them with their families.

The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed a little time outside in the sun. Drew really loves the outside. Anytime he gets really upset and starts to cry non stop we just take him outside and he settles down.

That evening they all had a big dinner. Russell and Nicole were able to come along with Grandma and Grandpa Woolley.

Everyone had a good time and as always the Martin's provided a wonderful meal.
